Violin Lessons and Viola Lessons

My teaching is always focused around the  pupil. I have drawn inspiration from music educators such as Suzuki and Kodaly but I aim to find the most effective approach to learning for an individual rather than any one set method.

I have pupils aged from 5 – 70+ and have many successful exam results from all. Of course exam successes are not the only results that count. Many adults beginners start with the aim to play with a local orchestra or simply just to be able to play at home. I always encourage playing with others and often teach with duets so that even at the most basic level of playing my pupils will always be experiencing and learning what it is to make music in ensemble.
